Cruise Holidays To Casablanca
Overview
Situated on Morocco’s north coast, Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and the most French-feeling. It’s not charming or romantic, as anyone who has seen the film might hope, but sprawling and busy. The centre is a short walk fro the dock and there’s a huge central market to explore, more food and household goods than souvenirs. If you want to buy rugs, try the New Medina, a taxi ride from the port.
Tours include city sightseeing, taking in the vast Hassan II mosque, the old Medina and the Sacre Coeur cathedral, or trips to the beach at nearby Mohammedia. Casablanca is also used as a gateway to Marrakech and Rabat, two of the famous Imperial Cities.
