Overview

Villefrance is only three miles from Nice and the two are often combined as one port of call. If your ship calls at Villefrance, you will arrive by tender at the small jetty, close to the old town centre and the beach. There’s not much to see in the town itself – its charm is in the atmosphere, with outdoor cafes, tempting patisseries, narrow, flower-filled alleyways and houses in soft pastel colours.

Further afield, both Nice and Monaco are within easy reach by taxi, bus or train (be sure to get back to the ship in time if you’re travelling independently) or as shore excursions. Trips are also operated to Eze, St-Paul-de-Vence and Grasse, famous for its perfume production.
